Zentyal development team is proud to announce the release of Zentyal 3.3, a new Zentyal Server Community Edition. Zentyal Server is the open source alternative to Windows Small Business Server, including native replacements to Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server.
Among all the changes Zentyal 3.3 introduces, we would like to put the focus on:
Improved exception management system
Upgrading from an existing Zentyal 3.2 installation and migrating configuration is very easy. You just need to upgrade to the latest available 3.2 packages and a upgrade button will appear in the Zentyal Dashboard. Alternatively, you can do it in the shell with the following commands:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade sudo sed -ri 's/zentyal(.)3.2/zentyal\13.3/g' /etc/apt/sources.list sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
